Summer Movie Night - September 3 - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYAETtIIClkSummer in Urbana means Summer Movie Nights. This Saturday, that means E.T.Students are back and it's time for the last Summer Movie Night of 2016. Hang out with locals, watch a free movie, and enjoy the end of a glorious summer.Spielberg's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial hardly needs an introduction. In short, E.T. tells the story of an alien who's stranded on Earth and discovered by a ten-year-old boy who works helps him get back home. Though released in 1982, E.T. has, for decades, been a movie familiar to children and adults alike. Chances are, though, that you haven't seen it for a while, so reboot those childhood memories with a community screening! The film will be screened in the Busey Bank parking lot in Downtown Urbana starting at sundown, around 7:30, and will last for a little over two hours.Remember to bring something to sit on and anything else you might need. And if you can, RSVP to the Facebook event, that way you have an extra reminder.Urbanalove is only able to organize Summer Movie Nights with the generous help from our local sponsors: Urbana Free Library, H2O SalonFirst Federal, City of Urbana, BuseyDixon Graphics, Urbana's Market at the Square, Common Ground Food Co-op, Siam Terrace, Prairie Rivers Network, and Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Time and Space.
