In celebration of May as National Bike Month 2014, the Champaign-Urbana community celebrated its fifth annual Bike to Work Day. Aiming to promote bicycling as a viable commuting option for residents of all experience levels, participants in CU Bike to Work Day (May 15th, 2014) stopped by stations located at employment centers throughout the Greater Champaign Urbana area for snacks, drinks, and information regarding bicycling in CU.

Free Tune Up Station

In order to encourage and support more people to bike, Neutral Cycle co-sponsored a station on the University of Illinois Engineering Quad. Against the cold and raining weather from 6:30 am to 10 am, Neutral Psychos provided a free bicycle clinic/basic tune up for commuters. Neutral’s Big Yellow Tandem Rental Bikes were also displayed at both the Downtown Champaign station and the Campus station.
