This will be a 40 mile DROP ride out to Homer Lake and back that will start and end at Neutral Cycle. We will be averaging 15-18mph. Helmets are required. Please bring a mask for any stops made along the way. Hope to see you there!

Join a 22-mile round-trip night bike ride departing shortly before sunset to enjoy both the sunset and moonrise over the prairie on a “pick your speed” ride over very low traffic country roads. We stop at Sidney Dairy Barn for ice cream and socializing before heading back on magical moonlit roads.

NEUTRAL CYCLE has teamed up with Pygmalion this year for a free community Bike Ride. Anyone can join us on this fun trek from Research Park + Blue Waters through Meadow Brook Park, up to Sipyard, and over to Krannert Center for the rest of the evening.

Tour de Fruit Round 3 Presented by Neutral Cycle

Have you ever tasted a pawpaw, the largest edible fruit native to Urbana? On this 5 mile family friendly bike ride we'll visit numerous pawpaw trees and talk about everything pawpaw. Through the lens of pawpaw we'll touch upon history, ethnobotany, native ecology, poetry, propagation, cuisine, folk songs, and much more. Riders will be encouraged to save seeds and plant their own pawpaw patch.

Tour de Fruit Round 2 will take us to the edge of town for an interactive wild food plant walk. On the way we'll pass by several local forests to look at examples of native forest succession. The 13 mile ride will include one long break where we'll hop off the bike to get a close view of a variety of edible, medicinal, and dye plants. Both native and invasive species will be discussed for their utilitarian value. Be prepared for a 3 hour round trip with plenty of extra water and sunscreen.

Have you ever savored a serviceberry? Or marveled at the majesty of a wild mulberry? Join us for the Tour de Fruit where we'll discuss and explore C-U's wild food landscape with a friendly, inclusive bike ride. Arrive early for free air and lube compliments of Neutral Cycle.

Neutral Cycle will be giving us a tour of the shop and will give us a brief demo on how to do simple checks and fixes on your bikes.There will be food and prizes! Then, We will all ride to the Champaign- Urbana Farmers Market where you can learn about and receive basic bike maintenance.

There is a Full Moon Ride happening Friday the 22nd. It leaves from Meadowbrook park at 7:30 p.m.

It's that time again...Howl your butt on over to Neutral Cycle Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. and we will take off from there to meet up with the group at Meadowbrook Park which leaves at 7:15 p.m.

Moonlight ride! It's getting warm and it's time to ride to the Dairy Barn in Sydney!

We will meet up at the campus shop at 6:00 p.m. and ride to Meadow Brook where we will meet up with the rest of the group to leave at 7:15.

This Wednesday let us kickoff the CU Bike Polo night with a tailgate. We'll bring the grill, you bring the people. Let’s have a good time before the games begin!

Urbana Love presents with Neutral Cycle a FREE Summer Movie Night featuring Breaking Away.

The bicycle culture within the CU area has been growing and we thought it deserved a day this summer for celebration so come out on Friday, July 11th to help celebrate summer, bikes, good food, and good people with us.

Breaking Away is a critically acclaimed film from 1979 about the grit and strength of how bicycles bring people together.

On top of that we decided to host a Community Bike Ride. Community Bike Ride's are ways to help people feel more comfortable on a bike, encourage bike usage, and strengthen the CU bike culture.

After much preparation and planning, Neutral Cycle is happy to announce that it has expanded to its second location on campus! Come hang out with us at 624 S 5th St (just north of Green St) this Saturday at our grand opening/open house, and see what's new with us. We are excited to be serving the campus community.
